- The organizing committee of 2020 IFCAID has started to solicit opinions
From March 12 to 31, 2020, in order to make the 2020 IFCAID better fit the needs of the development of automotive industry, the organizing committee of the forum solicited opinions on the proposed theme and topics from the players in the auto industry. More than 50 auto enterprises and institutions both in home and abroad, such as FAW Car, GAC, Dongfeng Venucia, BAIC Research Institute, BYD, Great Wall Motor, SAIC VW, Brilliance BMW, Beijing Hyundai, Daimler (China), Nissan (China), and GIZ etc,, expressed their comments.
- 2020 IFCAID Online Exchange Meeting was held successfully
On March 27, the organizing committee of the forum held an online meeting on the plan on the holding of 2020 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development. More than 40 professionals from Dongfeng, BAIC, BJEV, Geely, Chery, Great Wall Motor, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Toyota, Beijing Hyundai, Schaeffler, Nissan, and Jaguar Land Rover etc.participated in this meeting. The organizers have attached great importance to the development of the forum and will focus on the holding of think tank forum to promote the further development of the industry at the new starting point.

The 16th International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development (IFCAID), which is initiated by China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd., Society of Automotive Engineers of China, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, and China Automotive News Agency, is scheduled to be held during September 4 to 6, 2020, in Tianjin.
