Background:
The global automobile ownership continues to grow. The energy shortage, environmental pollution, traffic congestion and other phenomena have become increasingly prominent and become the restricting factors of sustainable development of automotive industry. Internet of Vehicles (ICV) has been recognized as the effective solution to these problems. It is one of the important directions of the future development of the automobile industry. The comprehensive development of the ICV will bring about major changes in the use of products and their attributes. Thus the auto industry will usher in development opportunities. The ICV not only changes the automotive products, it also promotes the transformation and upgrading of the auto industry. As a new field, the development of ICV must rely on multi wisdom and strength to achieve political research collaborative innovation. In the face of a new round of automobile technology revolution, the traditional automobile and parts enterprises, the Internet companies, and technology companies have started the development layout of ICV and actively promote the technology research and development, and the formulation of standards and commercialization process.
