At current stage, the policy focuses on increasing the supply front adjustment and guiding the reduction of excess capacity at supply front and structural adjustment to reach the new level adapting to the demand side. It helps to enhance the innovation ability of enterprises, improve the quality and efficiency of supply, improve the supply structure, and ultimately improve the TFP. Under the new economic normal, how to make China develop from a big manufacturing country to a
super power is an important problem to be considered. As an important part of China’s manufacturing industry, the automotive industry’s reform on the supply front is very important.
