2014 is the first year for China’s comprehensive deepening of reform; it creates a new condition for the quality upgrading and efficiency improvement of auto industry. China has entered in an important strategic-opportunity period of transforming from a big auto country into to an automobile powerhouse. Meanwhile, many external factors, such as energy, environment, and transport etc., have produced serious challenges to the sustainable development of auto industry. Auto industry should rely on innovation so as to adapt to changes of environment, play a decisive role in allocating market resources, and further release the vitality of industrial development, with the aim of achieving the goal of building a powerhouse of automobiles.
